Purpose: Short stay Visa to visit Nigeria for the purpose of participation in or attendace at sport activities or sports competitions.
Eligibility: Sports participants (Athletes, officials etc) and authorized support teams.

Requirements

• Valid Passport (not less than 6 months validity).
• Passport size photo.
• Evidence of return ticket.
• Letter of invitation indicating Tournament or sporting Event.
• Athlete’s credentials (Where applicable).
• Letter from Federal/State organizer or Private organiser with endorsement by Federal or State sports commissions.
• Evidence of Hotel Reservations or host address in Nigeria.
• Evidence of sufficient funds by participants or sponsor.
• Evidence of sporting fixtures towards the sporting event.

Steps to Obtain

1. Receive Invitation from Event Organizers
   • Must outline nature and schedule of event.
2. Apply (via e-Visa or Embassy).
3. Upload visa requirements and pay visa fees.
4. Obtain Visa.

Validity: 90 days from issuance.
Extendable?: No.
Stay duration:  30 days Single entry.
Restrictions: No employment. Permitted to perform sporting activities only.
Family/Group Applications: Group applications for up to 10 persons.
