Purpose: A visa type issued to dependants of employed expatriates on quota who are less than 18 years of age.

Eligibility: Dependants less than 18 years accompanying employed expatriates on quota.

Requirements:

• Valid Passport (not less than 6 months validity) 
• Passport size photo 
• Copy of Birth Certificate / adoption decree 
• Copy of the expatriate’s employment visa  
• Letter from the principal immigrant
• Formal application for R2C visa from the employer / institution of principal accepting IR.
• Guardianship certificate where applicable
• Parental / Legal Guardians’ Letter of consent of the accompanying Guardian.

Steps to obtain

1. Obtain Documentation.
2. Apply (via embassy).
3. Submit visa requirements and pay visa fees.
4. Obtain Visa

• Validity: 90 days from issuance.
• Extendable: Yes.
• Stay duration: 2 years. Multiple entry (Residence permit).
• Restrictions: Permitted to reside in Nigeria as dependant to employed Expatriate on quota.
• Family/Group Applications: No.
