Purpose: A type of visa granted to aged parents (65 years and above) of employed expatriate on quotas.

Requirements

• Valid Passport (not less than 6 months validity) 
• Passport size photo 
• Government-issued age proof (65+ years) 
• Attested proof of relationship (birth certificate, affidavit, etc.) 
• Copy of the expatriate’s visa
• Letter from the principal Immigrant (Parents) accepting IR.

Steps to Obtain

1. Gather Documentation.
2. Apply online (embassy).
3. Upload visa requirements and pay visa fees.
4. Obtain Visa.

Validity:  90 days from issuance.
Extendable: Not Applicable.
Stay duration:  2 years, Multiple entry. (Residence permit).
Restrictions: No employment. To reside in Nigeria on expatriate quota.
